The Aerostar unmanned air system is produced by Aeronautics Defense Systems. The single engine aircraft has been designated RQ-26A and is used as a surrogate test bed by the Naval Air Systems Command.
A digital data link provides for a 250 km Line of Sight (LOS) operational range and the UAV can fly for more than 12 hours.
