BAE ESGRUM USV

BAE ESGRUM is a prototype unmanned surface vessel developed by researchers in Ecuador's Navy (Fuerza Naval). The trimaran-hulled USV is designed to navigate autonomously to conduct surveillance and reconnaissance missions.  The project included the development of a low cost, electronically-fired rifle without moving parts and a guided rocket launcher.  Below, the USV is shown during testing in 2012 on the Guayas River and off the coast of Salinas.
