The SAM 3 (Self-Propelled Acoustic Magnetic Sweep) is an unmanned underwater vehicle developed by SAAB Kockums that can conduct minesweeping operations via remote control or autonomously. The catamaran-hulled USV can be disassembled and transported in a 40 foot shipping container.

The 14.4 meter long vehicle is shock-hardened against mine explosions and can carry magnetic, acoustic, and electro-magnetic influence effectors.  Up to four SAM 3s can operate in formation to generate realistic ship signatures.
