Kratos Announces Successful Flight Test of BQM-177A Target

6 November 2014 - Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. announced today that its Unmanned Systems Division (USD) has successfully completed its first U.S. Navy flight test for its BQM-177A Subsonic Aerial Target (SSAT) Unmanned Aerial Drone System.

Kratos Receives $4.8 Million Unmanned Aerial Drone Control System Delivery Order

16 September 2014 - Kratos Defense & Security
Solutions, Inc. announced today that its Micro Systems, Inc. subsidiary of the Kratos Unmanned Systems Division (KUSD) recently received a delivery order from the U.S. Navy valued at $4.8 million for unmanned aerial drone system command and control systems and services. Under the new contract award, Kratos will provide engineering support and develop upgrades to unmanned aerial drone command and control electronics and related ground control stations. Kratos' Unmanned Systems Division is a premier provider of high performance unmanned drone aircraft and these systems' related avionics, electronics, command and control systems, solutions, services and logistics.

Kratos Receives U.S. Navy Unmanned Aerial Drone System Single Contract Award

11 February, 2014 - Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), announced today that its Micro Systems, Inc. subsidiary of its Advanced Drone and Targets Systems (ADTS) Division recently received a four-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) from the U.S. Navy valued at up to $29.6 million for unmanned aerial drone command and control systems and services. Under the new BOA award, Kratos can be issued orders to provide engineering support and develop upgrades to unmanned aerial drone command and control electronics and related ground control stations over the next four years. Kratos' ADTS Division is a premier provider of high performance unmanned drone aircraft and these systems' related avionics, electronics, command and control systems, solutions, services, and logistics.

Vice Admiral Mike Malone Joins Kratos Defense & Security Solutions' New Unmanned Combat Aerial Systems Division

 7 November 2013 - Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc., a leading National Security Solutions provider, is pleased to announce today that Vice Admiral Mike Malone (U.S. Navy -- retired) has joined the Company as a consultant to the newly established Unmanned Combat Aerial Systems (UCAS) Division. In this capacity, VADM Malone will serve as a Special Assistant to the President, UCAS Division, Vice Admiral Jerry Beaman, (U.S. Navy -- retired).

"Vice Admiral Malone joining the Kratos UCAS Team is another important
step in the continued execution of our strategy in building an
affordable, survivable and recoverable unmanned combat aerial system
for the military," said Jerry Beaman, President, Unmanned Combat Aerial
Systems Division. Mike Malone will serve as a special assistant, with
the primary responsibility of consulting and coordinating Kratos' UCAS
activities with certain opportunities and customers, including the U.S.
Navy & U.S. Marine Corps, while working closely with VADM Jerry Beaman on aircraft performance and mission requirements. VADM Beaman concluded, "We believe that Vice Admiral Malone's decision to join the Kratos UCAS team is continued confirmation of our UCAS strategy and will be invaluable in ensuring we understand and meet the needs and requirements of certain of our primary customers as we move forward."

Vice Admiral Malone is an accomplished, proven leader with extensive
experience in large-scale operations within the military as well as in
the corporate world. His achievements in both military and corporate
venues along with their respective broad scope of responsibilities make
him a strong addition to the Kratos UCAS senior management team.

Before joining Kratos, Vice Admiral Malone was the President of Skarven
Enterprises, where he directed all company operations including P&L
responsibility, strategic planning, budget development and personnel
oversight. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for a
global leader in access control and wireless security systems as well
as a high technology simulation and manufacturing company.
