Eagle Eye UAV

Eagle Eye was a vertical take-off and landing tilt-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle designed by Scaled Composites for Bell Helicopter.  The UAV's first flight was in 1998 and the U.S. Coast Guard acquired it (then designated TR918) in 2002 intended as a component of the Deepwater program.

The Coast Guard abandoned the program in 2007 due to escalating cost and technical challenges.
